Hickstead finale for Jersey trio

Amy Schiessl qualifying for the Hickstead Masters finals on Mr Mercury

Three young Jersey dressage riders have qualified for the Hickstead Masters finals on 26 and 27 July with wins at semi-finals recently held at the Chemin Le Roi showground in Guernsey.

They are Amy Schiessl (15), who won the FEI Junior Masters semi-final and qualified at medium level with her coloured gelding, Mr Mercury; Alex Baker (14), riding Essentially Alabanna, who qualified for the medium final with a win in the medium freestyle to music class; and Bethany Byfield (9), on Deanhills Heaven Sent, who will be competing at preliminary and novice levels.
