Duquemin edged out of final in Canada

JERSEY’S Zane Duquemin finished 18th out of 33 discus competitors at the World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada, on Friday.
The 18-year-old Jersey Spartan missed out on qualification for the final with the best of his three throws, 54.6m, being well short of his personal best of 58.59 – a mark that would have seen him in the 12 man final in seventh place.
