CI athletes off to league fixture in Glasgow
Friday 30th July 2010, 2:59PM BST.
GLASGOW will be the venue for the Sportingbet Channel Islands Athletic Club’s penultimate British Athletic League fixture of season tomorrow.
The squad, currently second in the division, will be without Steve Dawes for the fixture, but will be hoping they have the quality to at least maintain their position.
Seven Jersey athletes join nine from Guernsey in the squad, which includes debutant James Brehaut.
The Jersey contingent is made up of Peter Irving (400 hurdles), Ross Jeffs (long jump and triple jump), Zane Duquemin (discus and shot putt), Toby Edwards (800m), Tom Brown (5,000), David Martin (long jump and triple jump) and Jason Fox (high jump).
