Ten-man Scottish edge past Accies

Jordan Rea gets a header on target for Jersey Scottish in last night’s match against Sporting Academics.
JERSEY Scottish moved into the last four of the Charity Cup last night – but it was far from an easy passage in a 2-1 victory against Championship club Sporting Academics.
After dominating the opening 35 minutes at the IJ Bathe Field the Scots, who were a goal up at the time, went down to ten men but they scored again soon after Carl Murray’s departure following the player’s alleged use of foul and abusive language.
Earlier, Ruben Pestana struck the Accies’ crossbar and from the rebound Scottish captain James Scott had an effort cleared off the line.
