Banahan sees yellow in ‘friendly’

FORMER JRFC player Matt Banahan came on as a substitute to score a try for Bath in their 14-26 win over Ulster Rugby at Ravenhill on Saturday before he was then yellow-carded following a series of infringements as the visitors defended their try-line.
For Banahan, after spending off-season time with his family, the game proved to be a combination of ‘job well done’ while also serving as a stiff reminder that referees have been encouraged to penalise any kind of foul play in the season to come.
