Premier League Blackpool close in on Brett Pitman

JERSEYMAN Brett Pitman could become a Premiership footballer today as he is discussing personal terms with Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
NPower League One AFC Bournemouth yesterday accepted a new bid from Blackpool, after they had earlier in the day turned down a bid of £400,000.
Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell said his club’s board had reluctantly agreed to accept the second offer – believed to be in the region of £600,000 – for the former First Tower United and St Paul’s forward.
