Disappointment for Beckie Herbert
HOCKEY star Beckie Herbert has described her disappointment at not being named in England’s Commonwealth Games squad.
The 24-year-old had been fighting to prove her fitness before the decision, after undergoing surgery on a hip injury at the end of May, but lost that battle yesterday when a squad of 16 plus two reserves was announced minus the Islander.
