Blue Islands flying high

AIRLINE Blue Islands carried more passengers than Guernsey States-owned Aurigny on the inter-island route in July.

Blue Islands said that its market share was 70 per cent last month and that it carried more than 10,000 passengers on the Jersey-to-Guernsey route.

And the airline has seen an overall 25 per cent increase in inter-island passenger carryings since January compared to the same period in 2009.
