14-year-old boy accused of seven burglaries

A 14-YEAR-OLD boy appeared in Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with carrying out seven burglaries, one attempted burglary and one theft from a car.

He is accused of stealing cash and goods worth more than £3,500 from various town shops and businesses over a period of six days in August.

A 17-year-old co-defendant was also charged with carrying out seven of the burglaries and Luis Rebelo (18), of New Street, was charged with being involved in two of the burglaries and also the car theft.
