THREE of the victims of Sunday’s fatal road crash in St John have been flown to the UK for specialist treatment.

Driver Maria Sousa Pestana (34) died after her car crashed into a granite wall at the Hautes Croix junction.

Two of Ms Pestana’s children – an eight-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy – and a 22-year-old female passenger, have now been transferred to the intensive care unit at Southampton. The mother’s ten-year-old son is in a stable condition in the children’s ward of the General Hospital.
