Court asks ex-Senator for a ‘proper’ medical report

A MORE conclusive report on ex-Senator Stuart Syvret’s mental health has been ordered, as a ‘short’ letter from a psychiatrist was deemed inadequate at his latest court appearance on Tuesday.
The former Health Minister, who is facing several charges related to data protection and motoring offences, was told that a review was needed on his fitness to take part in a trial.
Mr Syvret (45) delayed the start of his hearing yesterday by strolling into the Magistrate’s Court ten minutes late, wearing trainers, jeans and a creased beige shirt.
