No room at the Hospital for injured biker?
Wednesday 25th August 2010, 2:56PM BST.
AN Island motorcyclist seriously injured in a French hospital following a crash in Brittany has been told he cannot come home because no bed is available in Jersey.
Mark Shales, who works for Trinity Joinery, was riding with fellow members of Bikers MCC last week when a tractor pulled out in front of him.
He suffered multiple arm and leg fractures in the collision and is still stranded in the hospital in Ploermel, Morbihan. A spokesman for the Hospital said that they were looking into the matter.
