Scotland’s Lewis Kidd scores the first goal under pressure from Jersey’s Scott Johnson.

SCOTLAND U16s produced a fine exhibition of passing football to defeat a Jersey Youth XI by three goals to nil at Springfield Stadium on Tuesday night.

The visitors had the hosts chasing shadows for the majority of the first half and it was mistakes by the home team that led to the Scots running into a two-goal lead inside 14 minutes.

Jersey struggled to get hold of the ball and when they did get it they were then either caught in possession or they gave the ball away cheaply.
