Pakistani surgeon flies to flood-ravaged home village

A PAKISTANI surgeon at the General Hospital is flying to his home village in the flood-ravaged country after reports that it has been washed away, leaving many of his relatives homeless.
General surgeon Sarfraz Jamali, who is originally from the Jafarabad district, also fears that his own 400-year-old house has been destroyed.
The breast surgeon, who has lived in St Clement for the last 12 years with his wife Mehtab and three children, said that he has been left ‘heartbroken’ by the situation.
