MOTORISTS have been urged to take more care on the Island’s roads following two more serious accidents yesterday.

Two drivers were taken to hospital with head and neck injuries following a serious collision just after 5 pm on Route de St Jean, near St Mary’s Village. Just hours earlier another driver suffered head and neck injuries when two cars collided on Tower Road in St Helier.

Jersey Fire and Rescue Service Station manager Richard Liron said: ‘People need to make more time for their journey and take much more care in these weather conditions.’
