THE fourth place curse has struck again for Gareth Callan after he just missed out on a medal at this year’s World Muzzleloaders Shooting Championship in Portugal.
Finishing outside the top three at a major individual event once again, it all came down to a matter of millimetres as he found himself in fourth place in the kneeling event.
With the winner scoring 93, group size had to be used to separate the next three competitors, who were tied on a score of 90, and the Jersey shooter missed out on the bronze by just half a millimetre.
