Diana inquest judge to address conference

THE judge who conducted the inquest into the death of Princess Diana and the executive director of the Society of Editors will be among the speakers at a conference to be held in the Island in October.

Baroness Elizabeth Butler-Sloss and Bob Satchwell will be among those addressing the day-long conference about legal issues relating to children and being held at the Radisson Hotel on 8 October.

The event will be the third annual Children Law conference arranged jointly by legal practice Hanson Renouf and the Association of Lawyers for Children.

The subject matter to be debated this year is ‘privacy and transparency – disclosure and publicity in children law proceedings’.
