Pitman’s Wales poser

INTERNATIONAL football may be the next step on the ladder for Jersey professional Brett Pitman.
The Bristol City striker, an £800,000 signing from Bournemouth this season, is, as a Channel Islander, eligible to play for any of the four home nations and it is widely reported that Wales boss John Toshack has had the former St Paul’s and First Tower United junior striker under consideration for some time.
And if it happens Pitman has the support of City manager Keith Miller.
