Quérée back on course

FORMER Junior Muratti captain and Island Games gold medallist James Quérée has finally got his football playing career started in the USA.
After a frustrating first season at Xavier University, Ohio, where he is on a four-year scholarship, the 20 year-old’s American adventure is now fully in gear after starting every one of his side’s opening fixtures of the season.
His debut for Xavier came in a friendly against Indiana who are ranked as one of the top 20 university sides in America, which Xavier went on to win 2-1.
Quérée joined Xavier University in August last year but following a broken leg, a dislocated shoulder and problems with his registration due to his professional history with AFC Bournemouth, he was unable to play even one minute of match football last season.
