Godwin triumphs in Brittany finale

Adam Godwin: Second and third place finishes secured him the title

JERSEY’S Adam Godwin is the Automatic 50 cc Brittany Moto-x champion.

And, in a great weekend for Island motocross, Connor Gautron finished in third place overall.

With the final two races on consecutive weekends, the first in Edern and last weekend in Bedee, Godwin went into the final round in the lead and his second and a third place finishes secured him the championship.

Gautron went into the penultimate round fifth overall, but a superb two wins at Edern, followed by a third and second place at Bedee, pushed him up onto the podium.
