Jersey establish team base in Delhi

Having overcome a number of problems Jersey team manager Paul Huddlestone has officially taken up residence in the Commonwealth Games village in Delhi.

Speaking last night he said: ‘We are one of the first to take up residence here and feel that we have achieved a lot already just by establishing ourselves.’

The Jesey team are due to fly on Tuesday for the competition which is being staged between 3 and 14 October.
