Ten jobs lost at Alpha Bank

TEN jobs will be lost at the end of the year when Alpha Bank Jersey Ltd closes.
The ten staff have now all been informed about the decision, which was made at a board meeting of Alpha Bank London Ltd.
Alpha Bank Jersey Ltd, which provides banking and investment services to clients largely from Greece and has offices in West’s Centre, has blamed poor market conditions and limited growth prospects for the decision.
Managing director Richard Buchanan said that the business would close on 31 December.
