Commonwealth Games team leave for Delhi

JERSEY’S Commonwealth Games team have pledged to ‘do their Island proud’ before their departure to Delhi today.

The bulk of the 53-strong team were due to leave Jersey at lunchtime and by tomorrow morning should be arriving at their accommodation in the Indian capital.

Archer Lucy O’Sullivan has been taken ill, however, and will not be travelling with the team today. Click here for the story
