ARCHER Lucy O’Sullivan’s place at the Commonwealth Games is in jeopardy after she was hospitalised with an illness yesterday.
The 19-year-old, one of Jersey’s brightest medal prospects in the compound archery, has been struck down by a kidney infection and Jersey team officials have confirmed that she will not be travelling with the team today.
She was admitted to hospital yesterday and is in a lot of pain, but she is being treated with strong antibiotics and still hopeful of getting to the Games.
