O’Sullivan off to join Jersey team

ARCHER Lucy O’Sullivan will travel to the Commonwealth Games in Delhi today to join the Jersey team.

The 19-year-old was hospitalised with a kidney infection, after becoming ill last week, when her condition worsened at the weekend. That rendered her unable to travel with the Jersey team yesterday as originally planned.

Although not feeling ‘one hundred per cent’ she improved enough to be discharged from hospital last night and has decided that she is able to make the long-haul trip to join her team-mates who arrived in Delhi this morning.
