Electricity prices frozen
Monday 18th October 2010, 2:56PM BST.
ELECTRICITY prices are to remain frozen until at least the end of next year.
The news, announced by Jersey Electricity today, is likely to come as welcome
relief to families struggling to meet bills amid pay freezes, increases in food costs and a recent 15 per cent rise in gas prices.
The freeze follows the five per cent reduction in electricity prices introduced at the
beginning of this year.
