Crisis budget proposals

Treasury Minister Philip Ozouf
GST is to rise to 5%, higher earners are in line to pay more Social Security and States departments are to be dramatically cut under hard-hitting Budget plans announced today.
Increases in duty on fuel, alcohol and tobacco are also included in one of the toughest budget statements for decades.
