More cars destroyed by fire

AN investigation is under way after two vehicles were destroyed and five others badly damaged in the third car park fire this month.
The cars and vans were engulfed as the blaze ripped through Gas Place car park in the early hours of yesterday. It is believed that the fire, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters, caused up to £15,000 worth of damage.
The States police have launched an investigation and said that it was ‘unclear’ how the fire started.
