Children urged to get creative
Friday 29th October 2010, 3:00PM BST.
CHILDREN are being encouraged to get creative at two new activities groups based on Christian principles.
Creative Kids is a new Methodist initiative and there will be sessions every Thursday after school at Ebenezer Methodist Church and after school on Mondays at St Aubin Methodist Church.
The seven-week programmes will be run by youth workers, childcare professionals and a practising artist who works closely with young people in the Methodist Church.
Both groups start next week and cost £15 for the seven weeks. The sessions run from 4 pm until 5.15 pm on both days and are aimed at children in school Years 3 to 6.
