A large number of people attended the meeting earlier this week.

THE Jersey Kart and Motor Club are to consider the implications of the opposition by St John parishioners to their plans to extend their track which would lead to the closure of the loop road at Ronez.

At a meeting on Wednesday evening attended by 120 people, parishioners made it clear to the club’s chairman Robin Troy that they were against the plans. The club planned to increase their use of the track from 200 to 300 hours a year to include training sessions for their young members.

Asked if the club would now reconsider their plans, which have been submitted to the Planning department, Mr Troy said that the committee would be consulting their members before making any decisions.

Well done Constable Butcher and all for repelling this O.T.T request, the use of the road is a concession and not a right.they should be glad to have it instead of trying to overstep the mark.

Truthseeker……. you have made your point on this matter in various other chat posts.
Being very critical towards the club at the same time – making it sound like you are king and they are peasants.

2 I believe neither of your assertions…just think they ought to show appreciation for what has been allowed…you may not like that of course…but that’s your stuff ,not mine.
