Teen flown to UK with head injuries

A TEENAGE motorcyclist was flown to the UK in the early hours of the morning with serious head injuries after he was in a collision with a car.

The 17-year-old was on his red Aprilia 125 motorbike riding down Queen’s Road when it collided with a blue Mazda Demio at 6.40 pm yesterday.

Accident investigators were at the scene of the accident and closed the road until around 1 am trying to find out what caused the collision.
