Bedell Cristin plays key role in £242m deal

LEGAL group Bedell Cristin have acted as Jersey and Guernsey counsel in a £242 million London property deal.

The firm represented a UK investment banking and private equity group in its acquisition of a newly reconstructed landmark City of London building designed by renowned building design team Foggo Associates.

Evans Randall has bought the Drapers Gardens building at the junction of Throgmorton Avenue and Copthall Avenue for £242.5 million.

The banking and private equity group acquired the building from a joint venture vehicle which included Canary Wharf Group and a subsidiary of the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds.
