A FULLY-fitted kitchen, a Michelin-star experience in your own home and a £500 shopping spree are all up for grabs in this year’s Channel 103 charity auction.
Despite the financial cutbacks, this year’s radio auction still holds the promise of being bigger and better than ever, with the value of donations seeming to be rising ever higher in a bid by philanthropic companies, groups and individuals to raise as much as possible for the Jersey Christmas Appeal.
But although auction co-ordinator Murray Norton has been blown away by the generosity of the donors, many more donations are still required to reach the target of well over 100 lots.
The Channel 103 auction is for the benefit of the Jersey Christmas Appeal which, every year, distributes funds and goods to the less-fortunate families of the Island.
The auction takes place on Sunday 5 December at 10 am on Channel 103. Peter Mac, Spencer Davies and Chris Halford will be hosting the auction until it closes at 4 pm.
Anyone interested in donating lots for the auction can contact auction@channel103.com.
• A full list of the lots will be published in the JEP prior to the auction.
