Bomb scare causes chaos in town

HUNDREDS of people were evacuated from buildings in and around Broad Street and Charing Cross this morning after a suspect package was delivered to premises in the area.
The disruption began at around 9.15 am, when the police were notified about the package.
The States police, working with honorary officers, supervised an evacuation of the nearby shops and offices, as well as assisted with traffic control.
