JERSEY RFC face the first of two vital away games tomorrow both against promotion rivals determined to remove the Island side from a top-two berth.
Southend is the first stop, a club who have invested heavily in new players, and one of the clubs tipped for promotion out of National Two League South.
They were nearly promoted last year. However, despite topping the league just two months ago, they now find themselves in seventh place with three defeats, the latest being 36-11 at Henley last weekend.
