The playhouse at a children’s nursery has been vandalised for the second time this year.

CCTV is now being installed at the Rainbow Tots nursery, behind the Les Quennevais Sports Centre, after it was targeted last week, leaving the nursery with a £400 bill. The playhouse was also attacked in March.

Nursery manager Irene Jones called the latest attack, which happened over a three-day period, ‘disheartening’ and criticised those responsible for ruining the fun for the children.

Probably kids. Although I must say that the picture doesn’t exactly show a trail of destruction?

I doubt very much that the perpetrators of this will read this page, but I’ll post anyway.

What were you hoping to achieve? What is so wrong with your lives that you have to target a nursery? Was it purely out of boredom?
Surely it can’t be for thrills, as what thrill can be achieved by ruining fun for very young children?

Disclaimer: I am a parent, and a bemused one at that.

Why do they then advertise that they are installing cctv… keep it secret and then catch the little sods!

It’s a shame we never hear of the culprits of this sort of damage being caught and made to fix it themselves.

It would be a much better form of punishment than a slap on the wrist and/or a fine. If they’re even caught.
