St Lawrence ease into last four

LAST season’s beaten finalists, St Lawrence, moved safely into the last four of the Trinity Shield yesterday following a 6-1 quarter-final win against St Martin.
At a murky St Lawrence, the home side scored three goals in each half before a plucky St Martin grabbed a late consolation with a strike from outside the penalty area by young Ryan Evans.
Tim de Luca, who scored a beauty inside a post from 30 yards, and Ross Crick both scored twice for the winners as colleagues Phil Helleur and Rupert Murray added singles.
