Paul Maguire, who is in Southampton Hospital
THE father of a teenage boy fighting for his life after coming off his motorbike in November has spoken of his devastation at watching his son battle to stay alive.
Mark Maguire has spent every day at his son Paul’s bedside since 21 November after the 17-year-old’s machine collided with a car in Queen’s Road. The family, said Mr Maguire, ‘are hoping for a miracle’.
The youngster has had to endure seven operations in the bid to reduce the brain swelling caused by the incident and remains unconscious on a life-support machine in Southampton’s neurological intensive care unit.

I feel for this family, His parents sound lovely, I wish and pray for him to have a full recovery, he has his whole life ahead of him and it can’t be cut short. I also feel for the other person involved in the crash because they must be feeling terrible for whats happened, accidents do happen.
Thinking and praying for you Paul, mark and the rest of the family.
