Gary Evans made it a Bento Squash double by winning the Closed Championship final amd the Division 1 fourth quarter 2010 league title this week.
In the knockout event decider on Wednesday, he beat Division 2 champion Toby Herold-Howes – who had previously dismissed three top flight players in the competition – in a close encounter 11-8, 11-8, 11-7.
Evans was one of five new champions crowned in the squash league after beating Si Aziz in his final game to maintain a 100 per cent win ration.
Paul Graf finished the season in second place, ahead of Dave de Abreu.
