JERSEY RFC remain second in National League 2 South after beating Henley 18-15 at St Peter on Saturday.
But they could easily have lost this game because the visitors were prepared to have a real go at the promotion-chasers.
Their basic tactic, as explained by coach Steve Barnes, was to run the ball from everywhere.
‘We know they’re a good side and yet they’ve a big bunch of forwards who, if you move the big boys around, you can score against. At the end of the day I was disappointed. I think Jersey were there for the taking.’
