A TEENAGER was fighting for his life today after being hit by a car on the same stretch of road where a woman was killed just a week ago.

The 18-year-old was crossing St Clement’s Coast Road at about 10.30 pm yesterday when he was hit by a silver Ford Escort travelling towards St Helier.

He was treated at the scene for severe head injuries before being transferred to the Hospital.

He was later flown to Southampton Hospital, where his condition was last night described as serious.
