Island Games windsurfing in Aland in 2009

IT is all change for windsurfers heading to this year’s NatWest Island Games as the event is taking on a new format.

Jersey Windsurfing Association president Justin Horton said: ‘It is going to be much more exciting racing and much faster. You might see people wearing helmets this time as they will be coming in a lot faster for the turns and there will be more pull-ups and more wipe-outs.
