Repairs to storm-damaged sea wall will take a month

STORM damage to the sea wall at St Ouen’s Bay will take up to a month to repair, according to the Transport and Technical Services department.

Wave damage removed large granite coping stones from the top of the wall where the department were already working to replace railings.

Director of municipal services Chris Sampson said that the damage ran along a stretch of the sea wall from Discovery Bay to the Watersplash.
