Driving off into the unknown

A FINANCIAL shortfall will not hold back golfer Olivia Jordan-Higgins as she steps out into the unknown next month on the Ladies’ Professional Futures Tour.
The 22-year-old Royal Jersey member has earned the right to live her professional dream, and although all her finances are not yet fully in place, the former Channel Islands champion golfer is not going to let that stand in her way.
The former Beaulieu student said: ‘At the moment I’m unsure what is going to happen financially, but I’m certainly not giving up. I’m going to the United States for seven months to complete the tour.
My aim is a place in the top ten on the money list, and if I can achieve that I will qualify for the main LPGA tour.’
