The plot thickens

DRAMA came thick and fast for Jersey RFC and the other big guns in National II on Saturday, but when the smoke cleared nothing much had changed, on the playing side at least.
A late try from the outstanding Dai Maddocks, converted by Michael Le Bourgeois, snatched a gritty 20-19 victory for Jersey away to Old Albanian.
Those four hard-won points keep the Reds second in the South II promotion play-off spot.
