Trading begins in first Jersey company to get Nasdaq listing
Monday 28th February 2011, 3:00PM GMT.
SHARES have started to trade in the first Jersey company to be listed on the New York Nasdaq exchange.
Velti plc, a global provider of mobile marketing and advertising technology solutions, began trading on the exchange following completion of a US$150 million initial public offering.

Mourant partner Michael Williams and associate Paul Martin advised Velti on the Jersey law aspects of the public offering and Nasdaq listing.

KIT 4 CLUBS
Win a share of £10,000
2012 is the year of the London Olympics and to celebrate this great event the Jersey Evening Post, in association with sponsors Ogier is giving all sporting clubs a chance to win a share of £10,000.

Well done! The usual suspects on here will bleat and moan abotu this sort of success, wanting to get rid of companies liek this, but without companies of all types using Jersey as a base, Jersey will become a squalid ghetto.
