JERSEY RFC have a point to prove against Clifton tomorrow.
For despite beating them 33-17, away from home, Clifton’s director of rugby, Darren Lloyd, reckons Jersey aren’t, particularly, a very good team.
‘To find out what they have to do to get better, they ought to look to other teams above them. To my mind they’re quite an average side and, to be honest, I am disappointed with the standard of rugby they play,’ he said.
Having said that, Clifton are ninth in the league while Jersey, the form team in the division – bar none, remain second in National II South, just two points behind leaders Ealing.
