New-look for awards night

IN only a few hours a new-look Jersey Sports Council awards evening will get under way at the Hotel Ambassadeur.
JSC chairman Hugh Raymond has been the driving force behind several changes to tonight’s event and hopes to make it a real celebration of sport in Jersey.
Although Raymond admits they ‘ran out of time’ to introduce a public vote to the proceedings he confirmed it is something that will be on the menu next year.
