Jersey Cat Club’s championships show
Tuesday 19th April 2011, 6:00AM BST.
JUDGES from the UK paid tribute to the very high standard of entries in The Jersey Cat Club’s Championship Cat Show on Saturday.
Held at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity, the show attracted 112 entries from Jersey, Guernsey and the UK, which came under the scrutiny of the eight judges from around Britain.
The cat judged to be best in show was a Jersey entry – Ms F Gallichan’s foreign white neuter Thairano Phoebe. The award for the best pedigree pet went to Mrs D Wherry’s semi-longhair tortoiseshell and white cat Pandora.
