Cassidy confident Saints will retain Upton
Thursday 21st April 2011, 3:00PM BST.
ST PAUL’S have all their big guns back as they head to Springfield on Saturday in a bid to retain the Upton Park Trophy against Guernsey champions St Martin AC.
The visitors deservedly beat St Paul’s to win the Wheway Cup last month and St Paul’s manager Martin Cassidy is now bidding to overturn that result and win the Upton for the first time as a manager.
Goalkeeper Andrew Bird and midfielder Dave Watson will not be involved but midfielders Carl McConnell and Jordan Docherty return from injury and Luke Watson from a seven-day suspension.
The kick-off time will be decided when St Martin arrive in Jersey and is expected to be around 3.30 pm.
